The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Fighters Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to begin their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their position as important members in the influential clan could help the team enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the other eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers groups.

Fans can expect discovering which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on October 24.
