Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a unexpected collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.

The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an exclusive katana together with multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa outfit for Naoe
• Special weapons
• Survey Corps vehicle

Newest Free Story Update

This release also introduces the game's newest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery." This humorous adventure teams Naoe and Yasuke as they trade signature abilities: Naoe introduces a performative version of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke masters non-lethal stealth takedowns. True to its name, "The Enigma" also contains a original environmental puzzle that may eventually shed light on some unanswered questions from the main storyline.
